Swiss NGO | Social and Societal Impact, EdTech

Graines de Paix is seeking a Programme Manager to develop, coordinate and oversee its programmes and services in Switzerland. Our programmes target children aged 4 to 15 and their teachers, as well as young people aged 11 to 16 and their youth facilitators. For this role, we are looking for a profile combining strong project management experience, a PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification/training, and several years of teaching experience or a strong knowledge of the public education system in French-speaking Switzerland, ideally acquired through an educational background in the region.
About Graines de Paix
Founded in Geneva in 2005, Graines de Paix develops innovative methods to address educational challenges in Switzerland, France and internationally: reducing violence, improving social cohesion in school (primary and secondary) and extracurricular settings, enabling students to acquire essential life skills, progress in their learning and thrive alongside their peers.
We provide public authorities and schools with a model and practical solutions to support teachers in addressing the growing challenges of increasingly diverse classrooms, including students facing difficulties or complex needs. We also provide youth facilitators and educators in extracurricular settings with workshops aimed at strengthening young people’s psychosocial skills and preventing violent reflexes and behaviours. We occasionally organise workshops for parents and local municipalities.
More broadly, our activities contribute to strengthening educational outcomes, preventing violence and fostering depolarisation, social cohesion and peace in society.
Our beneficiaries:
- Students, teachers, school leaders (public and private schools), and officials from Ministries of Education
- Children and young people, through facilitators and educators in extracurricular settings
- University and teacher-training students and faculty (Universities, Universities of Teacher Education and other training institutions)
- Parents
