Forms of bequest
Three simple options to tailor your bequest to your wishes.
Universal legs
You pass on all your assets.
Universal bequests
You bequeath a share of your estate (e.g. 10%, 50%) or a category of assets (jewelry, works of art, etc.).
Special bequests
You designate a specific asset or sum of money (apartment, land, securities, etc.).
In Switzerland, you can bequeath up to 50% of your estate if you have direct heirs. With no direct heirs, you can pass on up to 100%. All bequests are exempt from inheritance tax.

Draw up your will
There are two possible options:
- Holograph wills: These must be entirely handwritten, dated (day, month, year) and signed. Can be kept at home, entrusted to a trustworthy person, or deposited with a notary.
- Public wills: drawn up by a notary in the presence of witnesses, offer greater legal security and limit the risk of contestation.
Specify your wishes (optional)
If you wish, you can support one of our projects or countries of intervention, or let the Foundation direct your donation according to priority needs.
