I am committed to the Graines de Paix program in professional training for out-of-school and marginalized youth because I deeply believe that education, in all its forms, is a key driver of social transformation, as I have observed during my many missions with young people in Europe, as well as in emerging countries in Africa and Southeast Asia.
The aim of this initiative is to offer a second chance to young people who have left or been excluded from the school system, by giving them practical, concrete skills to help them enter the workforce. The aim is to restore their self-confidence, encourage their autonomy and help them play an active, positive role in their community.
Getting involved in Graines de Paix also means contributing to promoting values of solidarity, respect, and peace, offering young people dignified future opportunities, away from violence and indoctrination.
