Youth violence is on the rise, as is violence in the world at large.  <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Our mission in response<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Graines de Paix delivers innovative solutions that meaningfully combine education and training with violence prevention and peace-cultivating relationships. We transform academic-style teaching and training into interactive, experiential learning experiences that involve and energize all learners. We\u2019ve designed Learning by dialog and Learning by doing methods for learners to develop a full set of life skills and human values. These methods are the most apt to cultivate deeper thinking, discernment and the ability to defuse violent behaviors. Our programs are designed for students, youth, parents, and community leaders. We also work to transform the trajectories of out-of-school youth drawn to extreme violence.
