GlobalGiving supports Graines de Paix for its project in Benin
From 8 to 12 March, the GlobalGiving platform will be offering 50% extra on all donations up to 45 CHF/41 EUR/36 GB/50 USD to support the fundraising campaign for our project in Benin.
The region of Alibori, in the north of Benin, has the lowest school enrolment rate (59%) in the country. The influence of fundamentalist groups, school violence, instability, and oppressive norms threaten the education and future of children in this region.
The project is already well underway. Over 600 teachers in 3 departments have already been trained. We now need your help to raise 2500 CHF/2200 EUR/1900 GBP/2700 USD to provide all of our beneficiaries with access to our resources.
Each donation has an impact:
- 9 CHF/8 EUR/7 GBP/10 USD will help us to finance our next round of teacher training on skills for preventing risks of violence
- 18 CHF/17 EUR/14 GBP/20 USD will allow us to provide a trainer with a copy of the training guide on education without violence
- 23 CHF/20 EUR/18 GBP/25 USD will allow us to train a primary school teacher in quality education that will be positive and worthwhile for their students
- 45 CHF/ 41 EUR/36 GBP/50 USD will allow a turnkey kit to be produced for a teacher
- 60 CHF/54 EUR/47 GBP/65 USD will allow us to provide a teacher with a personalized follow-up for one year, to promote full-quality education
