Zané Elksnite

Zané is a writer, researcher, and art advisor specializing in contemporary and 20th-century art for private collections. Driven by a strong commitment to philanthropy and social responsibility, she has founded sustainable SMEs, directed a Chamber of Commerce, and coached corporate leaders in cross-cultural communication. Zané has also played an active role in supporting civil society through her work with foundations and advocacy organizations.

A Fulbright Scholar and alumna of the University of Washington, Zané holds degrees in English and Baltic Studies. She furthered her education in art history, law, and philanthropy at the University of Geneva, and she is fluent in six languages.

Zané is deeply dedicated to her family, emphasizing values such as collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity in raising her children. "As parents, we do our best, but we are not trained," she notes. "I’m proud to help new generations develop essential life skills through Graines de Paix. These skills are vital to the mental health, well-being, and future success of our children."

In January 2024, Zané joined Graines de Paix to lead the transition of the foundation from a single-family office to a multi-family-supported organization. Her mission is to build long-term partnerships with donors to create lasting impact, particularly for children and youth, continuing the work started by Graines de Paix’s founder, Delia Mamon.
